Warranty & Service Terms
Workmanship Warranty
DriveRight Mobile Mechanical stands behind the quality of our workmanship. A workmanship warranty applies to repairs completed by DriveRight Mobile Mechanical where the issue is proven to be directly caused by incorrect installation or workmanship.
Warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Pre-existing faults or vehicle conditions
Component failure unrelated to the repair performed
Faults caused by other failed parts or systems
Misuse, neglect, accidents, overheating, water damage, or lack of maintenance
Modifications or aftermarket accessories
Vehicles that continue to be operated after a known fault has occurred
Warranty Periods
General repairs: 12 months or 20,000 km (whichever occurs first) on workmanship only.
Servicing: Warranty applies only to items supplied and fitted by DriveRight Mobile Mechanical and does not cover failures caused by unrelated vehicle issues or components outside the service performed.
Diagnostics: Diagnostic fees cover the time and expertise required to identify faults. Diagnostics are not a guarantee that all future failures will be identified or prevented.
Parts Warranty
Parts supplied by DriveRight Mobile Mechanical are covered according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
If a supplied part fails, the part must be assessed before warranty approval. Labour associated with replacement of a failed part may only be covered where the failure is directly related to incorrect installation.
Customer-Supplied Parts
DriveRight Mobile Mechanical does not warranty customer-supplied parts. Labour warranty may be limited if a supplied part is incorrect, faulty, unsuitable, or contributes to a failure.
Warranty Claims
All warranty claims must be reported to DriveRight Mobile Mechanical as soon as possible.
DriveRight Mobile Mechanical must be given the opportunity to inspect and rectify any approved warranty issue before repairs are carried out by another repairer.
Unauthorised repairs may void warranty coverage.
Mobile Service Conditions
Mobile mechanical work is performed at the customer’s chosen location. DriveRight Mobile Mechanical is not responsible for issues caused by unsafe working conditions, inaccessible vehicles, or faults that prevent safe completion of repairs.
Customer Approval & Payment
All work is carried out with customer approval. Additional repairs outside the agreed scope will require approval where practical.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless prior arrangements have been made.
Vehicle Condition
DriveRight Mobile Mechanical is not responsible for failures caused by the existing condition, age, mileage, or previous repairs of a vehicle.
Some repairs may reveal additional faults due to the vehicle’s condition. These issues will be communicated to the customer before further work is completed.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights available to customers under Australian Consumer Law.
